San Leandro Lists October 24 Cybersecurity for Seniors Event at Main Library

SAN LEANDRO, Alameda County — October 23, 2026. California58 Local reports from a dated official city resource. We distinguish notices, proposals, planned events and enacted decisions and do not claim an event has occurred before it happens.

What is scheduled?

San Leandro’s city events calendar lists a Cybersecurity for Seniors program for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 300 Estudillo Avenue, the city’s Main Library. A calendar entry identifies the date and general location but does not alone establish that registration remains open or specify a full agenda.

Why might it be helpful?

Older residents and family caregivers often need practical information on identifying impersonation attempts, preventing fraudulent account logins, checking suspicious payment requests and protecting authentication codes. These are examples of relevant safety topics, not a verified list of presenters or course modules at this particular event.

What to verify before attending

Contact the library for session start time, language accessibility, reservation requirements, capacity and room location. Bring questions, but avoid sharing passwords, recovery codes or banking credentials in a public class.

Other public programs

The city’s event calendar lists additional library programs during late October, including language conversation groups and children’s holiday programming. Confirm each event separately before planning a combined visit.
